The driver can speak great English and he is also very professional. He can answer lots of questions regarding this trip, and I really had a great time traveling with him.

This trip was amazing. Our guide Tashi and our hoseman Manas were fantastic; both were competent, professional, personable, and fun. They helped make this trip a fantastic adventure we will never forget. In particular, our guide Tashi went above and beyond to make us feel as comfortable as possible despite our relatively limited horseback riding experience prior to this trip. Tashi went out of his way to share cultural experiences with us and to generally make sure we were always having fun. It's hard to put into a few sentences what an incredible adventure this was, but suffice it to say that if I could give this experience 10 stars out of 5, I would. I'm sure there was an incredible amount of logistical planning work by Timur and others at Visit Alay's office that we never saw, but we also very much appreciated that. This is not a beach vacation, but if you are looking for an incredible, rugged adventure off the beaten path, I couldn't recommend it more. Just make sure to wear comfortable pants!

The four days Ala Kul lake trek was fantastic and we enjoyed our hikes. Ala Kol was the absolute highlight of our 17 days trip to Kyrgyzstan, the colour of the lake is unreal. We were lucky with the weather and we were awarded by magnificent views for the intense ascends. Erlan is a nice guide, helpful and has a great vibe. He assisted us and took care of our needs, thank you for that! I recommend only one thing for consideration: the communication regarding the daily itinerary would be appreciated to know what to expect, distance, ascent, descent etc. also when we make stops and rest how much time we have, if drinking water is accessible etc. also when we arrive to a camp, where is the toilet, if electricity/wifi available etc. We had to ask those one by one and it would make sense to share these type of information with all participants. Thank you Visit Alay, thank you Erlan!

I had a wonderful time on this trek. The scenery and landscapes are just magnificent and we were very lucky to have Chingiz as our guide. He is a caring and wonderful person and a great guide. We had numerous issues and he handled them beautifully and was always there for support. The yurt camps were great, the families are hospitable and warm and we had plenty of delicious meals. Please bear in mind that this 8 day tour is not for beginners and for the faint hearted. Two days we had heavy rain, which made the tour even more adventorous and tricky. We enjoyed ourselves. I recommend this tour for experienced and adventorous hikers. Thank you Visit Alay, thank you Chingiz, well done!

I had an unforgettable journey along the Pamir Highway from Dushanbe to Osh with VisitAlay, guided by the incredible Kairat and Joomart. Not only were they skilled drivers, but also passionate and deeply knowledgeable guides. Along the route, we stayed in traditional yurts and homestays, offering us a genuinely authentic glimpse into local life and hospitality. We explored breathtaking mountain trails, immersed ourselves in the region’s stunning landscapes, and gained fascinating insights into its rich culture and history. Each day was filled with meaningful encounters, unforgettable scenery, and a true spirit of adventure. I highly recommend this experience!

A Truly Special Guide for the Pamir Highway, Travelling the Pamir Highway from Osh to Dushanbe with Kokon (through Visit Alay) was the highlight of our trip ( we were a group of 4). He’s a safe driver, speaks excellent English, and knows the entire country inside out—but what stood out most was his kindness, honesty, and warm spirit. Kokon made us feel completely at ease, even in the most remote places and brought the journey to life with his stories and humour. If you’re heading to the Pamirs, ask for Kokon. You won’t regret it, and don't forget to tip your guide! :)
